Or better known as Bill gates. Known for his discovery of Microsoft. Now a Multi Billion dollar company old Bill is doing pretty well for himself. As we all know Microsoft has been evolving over many years and will keep evolving over many years to come.

Why I chose Bill:
I chose bill gates because I could not find out who created the Microsoft website. I figure he has created some of the best computer technology around, and that does kind of tie in with the whole website genre.

I chose to do a website because I thought it would be creative and different. I also didn't like any of the other stuff that I could pick from (plus I can't draw). I chose apple Because apple products are good and reliable and all in all a good product.

Story idea

I think an idea for a story that would interest the whole family would be about one kid traveling around Australia with his family. Kids could relate to how lame their parents are, and how embarrassing they can be at the same time. And parents can relate to how disobedient and annoying their kids are when they don't listen. But who are we kidding putting anyone in a bus for 18 months is either going to make relationships more distant or closer. Whatever the differences are pulling through and having fun (or trying to anyway).

I chose this computer animation because it is a well known movie. and was put together very well

Model Animation

I chose this animation because I do like the movie that it is based on. It is also very well done and the makers of it have put a lot of time into it and deserve to be congratulated.

Cut out animation

I chose this one because it is not a big company who has made it but just someone with a lot of time on their hands

Hand drawn animation

Choosing this one was similar to the reason I chose the cut out one. The one difference is this one changes scene in a very different way. e.g. when the woman is screaming the camera zooms in on her face and then her tongue becomes the next scene.

Kuleshov Effect

I picked an american soldier crying as the main picture for my Kuleshov Effect. This is because all soldiers go through harder times than all of us. They have to live with the picture of there best friend being shot in their minds. I think they are the real hero's in the world and they should be praised for what they do. These first 2 pictures I have put with the picture of the man in the army crying are everyday things they have to live with. They have to attend friends funerals. Hurricane relief is another big thing in America and having to walk around in the debree looking for human remains.



This picture is another one I thought about afterward because a lot of soldiers who get injured are put into Comas. Whether it be medically indused or what it is still hard knowing that your best mate might not wake up.

As the name suggest Walter Elias Disney was one of the founders of The Walt Disney Company. Walter along with his brother Roy founded the company that was to become one of the biggest television and movie corporation ever. Walter is most well known for creating the most famous mouse in the world. Mickey Mouse.

What camera do they prefer to use:
Well I suppose one camera would be enough for the biggest TV/Movie Corporations ever. When Walter started the company hand drawn pictures turned animation were high on the list. These days the company uses anything from a Computers to create their masterpieces to Highly expensive cameras e.g. Red.

Brief History:
At the age of 19 Walter Disney started making cartoon ad's to be shown in theaters. When he was 27 he created Mickey Mouse During the next 10 years he created more cartoon Characters we all know today like Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto. One day he came up with a brilliant idea of creating a full length animated film. He had to hire the best cartoonists from around the world to help him with this After 4 years the masterpiece snow white and the seven dwarfs.

1. How many years has Karin Catt been taking photos?
Karin Catt has been taking pictures ever since she was 5. When she was 12 she took her first celebrity photograph of Michael Hutchence the lead singer of Australian band INXS.
2. What elements have contributed to her style?
Travelling has been a big contributor as seeing these will really open your eyes.
3. What is Catt passionate about?
Well she is a photographer so I would have to say she is passionate about picture taking.



I chose this Picture not because of the person in it (50 Cent) But because of the type of shot it is. I like it because it is an action shot and they are hard to take. And Action shots like this are great. I really respect the people who can time and take these types of pictures.

4. Who were some of the photographers that inspired Catt?
In the Essay Catt states that some of her favorite photographers are: Helmut Newton, Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, David Bailey, Guy Bourdin, Jurgen Teller.

My Audience:

My Audience would be anyone who wants to listen. If I was to name an audience I would probably say 25 years and over. This would be because it is tied in with politicians and not many people younger than 25 would not be interested.

My Intention:

My Intention is to open the eyes of both politicians and civilians. The fact is that the drought we are going through could be fixed as easily and wiping your bum. The government is focussing on putting in desalination plants. And yes they are good ideas but why not expand. Why not fix our problem for good. Every year hundreds of thousands of litres of water is pumped out into the ocean in the Kimberley. Why are we not utilising this and building a pipe down to Victoria. It is because as I said the answer is ringing in their ears all they need to do is listen. Even if we just built a pipe down and pumped it into the start of the Murray River and let it run through to Victoria that would kill two birds with one stone. As we all know a lot of farmers depended on the Murray River to give them fresh water all year round. But now that it is drying up a lot of farmers are suffering. The facts in this matter is that for 3-4 months of the year Kununurra has torrential downpours which fill up the mighty catchment area well known as lake argyle. Lake Argyle throughout the dry season is 21 times Sydney Harbour now this is in an average of 40 degrees Celsius heat. During the Wet season I mentioned above it will more than often double its capacity making it 42 times Sydney Harbour. People need to see this and realise there is stuff we can do that will make a big contribution to helping the drought in Victoria and South Australia.

Definition 1

I think that this web page would be based towards teenagers and maybe young adults. I think this is because of the layout of the page it has a sort of youth look too it. Another obvious reason is because it is advertised towards children. Linkin Park who did the music for it is also a band that is based towards young adults and teenagers. The Shadow background is also a colourful background. There is 3 transformers standing in a row. Once the site loads up another flying machine floats into the middle of the screen. Up the top the menu comes up you can then click on the menu to bring up one of the background machines to bring up a sub menu. Say you select gallery the left hand machine will come up with the pictures.

I think this web page is based towards anyone who likes cars. This could be kid’s teenagers adults male and both female. This is because anyone can be interested in cars. This is because the whole web page is based on the magazine wheels car magazine. The layout of the page has the ninemsn toolbar up the very top this is probably because the page is part of the ninemsn page. Below that is advertisement then below that is the wheels car magazine toolbar. Say if you clicked on road tests it would then come up with the different kinds of cars that they have done road tests on. Once you click on the car you want to see it will come up with the article that talks about the car and how it handles and performs on the road hence the name road test.
